We have been creative in our learning about Matariki.   One of our art activities involved using crayons to plot the 7 star locations then using different colours to make our stars stands out.

Learning Celebration

A big congratulations to Theo, Ollie and Hunter who did a fantastic job on the microphones, speaking for the Pod and keeping the assembly flowing.

Celebrating Mrs C on Support Staff Day

Today was support staff day and the Tautoko Pod thanked Mrs C for all that she does for our tamariki! She is our Pod Angel :)

Reciprocal Reading

This week we are beginning reciprocal reading. This reading programme is currently being used in the Kahurangi Pod and it allows students to manage their own learning. Students work in small groups to read and have a role to teach other group members a comprehension strategy. Thanks to students from the Kahurangi Pod for helping us to get reciprocal reading up and running!
