Congratulations Jaykob Rankin
At the Mini Masters Taekwondo Tournament in Levin last weekend Jaykob won Gold in sparring, Gold in board breaking and bronze in Patterns. With those results he won the trophy for the best overall mini male at the tournament.
Congratulations to Hunter Kennedy (Part 2)
Hunter competed in the Wellington Athletics Championships over the last two Sundays.
Hunter won Gold in Long Jump, Gold in 60m, Silver in 200m and Bronze in Discus. He also got 4th in 100m.

Congratulations to Hunter Kennedy
Hunter competed at the Wellington Athletics Champs yesterday.
He did awesome and won gold in the Long Jump with 3.74m and qualified a very close 2nd for the 100m.
He has the rest of his events this Sunday so we wish him the best of luck!

Today we watched this video to motivate us for our writing..... Although we didn't have a bear at school, we had to make do with a 'Bush Walk' instead....

Sign Language
This year we will be learning about sign language on Wednesday afternoons. We are very fortunate to have Mrs Sheila Monaghan coming into our Pod to teach our young learners. Our tamariki are already buzzing about learning a new language and are picking up new sign all the time.
Please take the time to ask your child to show you some of their new learning.....
I'm sure you'll be impressed!
